MUST:

7+ years of working in the Technology space

5+ years of overall Project management experience

Understanding of Texas project delivery framework or PMBOK

Understanding of AI/ML & Automation technologies, platforms and tools

Strong communication skills both written and verbal

High attention to detail

PMP cert is plus

Degree in relevant field is a plus

DUTIES:

The ideal candidate will work as the Project Lead helping to catalyst Texas DoT Data automation project in a hybrid Cloud/on prem contract

Develop and implement strategies to enhance organizational efficiency with Automation and AI technologies while ensuring effective governance and risk evaluation

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of AI and Automation projects for TXDot

Collaborate with Client and teams and external partners to define and clarify project scope and requirements, focusing on the customer to ensure their understanding of the implementation and usage of solutions

System Implementation: Lead the deployment solutions and monitor delivery of the portfolio

Lead a team of TxDOT ITD cross matrixed specialists (such as Applications, Infrastructure, Change Management, etc.), providing guidance and support to achieve project goals

Timeline and Budget Management: Monitor project timeline and budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost control

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success

Generate regular reports on project progress, highlighting key milestones and deliverables
