Teksystems has a client in the Sumter, SC area that needs to add an IT Generalist to their team. The role is slated as a 6 month contract to hire. The position is on-site 100% of the time. The IT Generalist will play a critical role in supporting day-to-day IT operations at the client's facility. This individual will provide hands-on technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain essential systems, including user accounts, network access, and remote connectivity. The IT Generalist will also assist with workstation setups, printer configurations, and documentation of IT processes to ensure consistency and compliance with company security policies. Additionally, this role will support the facility's move-in and system setup, working closely with external vendors and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition and reliable IT infrastructure.
