Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Sterile Processor to support clinical operations by ensuring dental instruments are properly cleaned, sanitized, and organized. This role is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care.
Key Responsibilities * Clean, sanitize, and organize dental instruments to uphold high standards of care. * Sterilize instruments promptly upon receipt into central sterilization. * Maintain cleanliness and order in all sterilization areas. * Keep accurate logs of spore testing and sterilization cycles. * Monitor and track instruments using sterilization systems. * Communicate equipment or supply issues to the Lead Sterilization Tech. * Support providers with instrument and handpiece needs. * Attend meetings and maintain supply orders as needed. * Promote teamwork and contribute to the Dental Center's goals. Qualifications & Skills * Strong organizational and time management abilities. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Professional and pleasant interpersonal demeanor. * Proficient in computer applications including email, word processing, and electronic medical/dental records. * Familiarity with dental procedures and infection control protocols. * Ability to conduct quality inspections and prioritize tasks effectively. * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience * Experience handling and sorting medical/dental instruments. * Knowledge of sterilization processes and inventory tracking. * Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
