Bilingual Medical Assistant - Trauma Ortho Team Location: Escondido (Mon-Wed) & Poway (Thu-Fri) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Front Office Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of experience to join a fast-paced trauma orthopedic team. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to float between two clinic locations. Key Responsibilities: * Register patients and input data into the computer system * Schedule appointments and manage phone communications professionally * Prepare exam rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, and supplies * Open sterile supplies and set up for procedures * Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and confidentiality * Accurately document patient interactions and medical records * Provide health care instructions to patients and families * Follow infection control protocols and clinic policies * Collaborate with team members to support departmental goals Required Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year of front office MA experience * Must have active Medical Assistant and BLS certifications * Spanish bilingual required * Ability to float between Escondido (Mon-Wed) and Poway (Thu-Fri) Preferrable Skills/Qualifications: * Strong communication and customer service skills * Proficient in Windows-based computer systems and standard office equipment * Ability to speak and read English fluently * Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
