Job Overview
SUMMARY The Event planner builds and maintains strategically aligned corporate and community relationships and partnerships. In addition, the Planner manages and produces events from conception through completion. Shift: Days. Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Some weekends and holidays may be required for events/department needs Job Status: Full-time, Hybrid POPULATION SPECIFIC CARE * No direct patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. - Manages, negotiates, and executes corporate and community partnership and vendor agreements.
- Maintains and develops community sponsorships, partnerships, and engagement opportunities in alignment with organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Plans and executes large-scale events and projects for key stakeholders including the Board of Directors, executive leaders, team members, and donors with the goal of enhancing constituents' experience and the hospital's reputation
- Leads internal and external stakeholders through project planning process including defining goals and scope, assigning tasks, developing timelines, managing budget, and allocating resources.
- Conducts market research and develops proposals to inform organizational decisions within budget and scope of the project.
- Communicates with stakeholders regularly conducting project meetings, developing and implementing communication plans, documenting project status and feedback, and providing solutions to problems that may arise
- Analyzes historical feedback to propose creative ideas to improve provided services, event quality, and planning processes.
- Strategizes with executive leadership on recurring and new events, programs, and initiatives to ensure each conveys the Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) brand, mission, and vision, while maximizing user experience
- Organizes facilities and manage all event details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, promotional material, etc.
- Partners with Marketing and Communications on marketing and public relations initiatives related to events, including developing content for deliverables, advising on timelines, providing creative direction, and pitching strategy.
- Manages documentation including project plans, evaluations, and reports.
- Advise on best practices and policies relating to compliance (insurance, legal, health, and safety), code of conduct, risk management, and marketing and communications
- Oversees event assignments to CCD coordinator, helping train on tools, best practices, and project processes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- EXPERIENCE - Five years of experience providing event planning and consultation services.
- EQUIVALENCY - Bachelor's degree in a related field may substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Salary Information Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $66,083.89 to $99,125.84
