Overview

Milliman's Indianapolis Health Practice is seeking a Healthcare Account Executive Intern (Summer 2026) to support our consulting work with life sciences clients. This internship is designed to give up-and-coming business leaders the opportunity to gain insight into the healthcare industry and help create solutions and strategies for our clients. Interns will research key topics in the healthcare industry and regularly present findings back to our internal client teams to support work for life sciences clients. Interns will collaborate with other interns, account executives, project managers, and editorial and creative staff to strengthen healthcare expertise and create presentations that meet our high-quality expectations. Responsibilities

In this role, you will:



  • Draw upon your research and communication skills to complete a series of projects on key topics in the healthcare industry
  • Present key findings back to internal teams to support client work
  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to creative staff during development of marketing materials
  • Develop and track progress on detailed project plans to serve as a critical communication tool
  • Engage internal subject-matter experts as required to facilitate content creation and development
  • Manage personal workload and workflows while assigned to multiple projects

    • Proficiently manage time to ensure successful completion of assigned tasks by deadlines while involved with multiple projects


    Required



    • Applicant should be on track to graduate and be available for full-time employment no later than summer 2027
    • Currently working towards a bachelor's degree or higher with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Management, Healthcare Management or other relevant field
    • Exposure to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or other similar software
    • Strong organization and time management skills
    • Strong presentation skills, including both oral and written communication


      Individual(s) must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship from Milliman now or in the future.

      The Team

      The life sciences consulting team is a group of 60+ individuals in the Indianapolis Health practice from varying backgrounds including actuaries, data analysts, pharmacists, and graphic designers. This group works primarily with life sciences companies and consults on their relationship with insurance companies and other stakeholders of the life sciences value chain.

      Location

      This position is based out of the Milliman office in Indianapolis, IN. Candidates hired into this role must be willing to work onsite full-time.
