Logistics Manager - ID Sculpture

Summary

ID Sculpture designs and manufactures climbing boulders, playground sculptures, and fine art sculptures for parks, schools, and public spaces across the country. We use a combination of technology and traditional methods to create unique interactive environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Logistics

1. Arrange for and manage logistics of outgoing and incoming products and/or materials.
2. Manage repair kit assembly and shipping of repair materials.
3. Coordinate shipping logistics for site-built projects, reconcile against budget and provide feedback to sales team.
4. Support the shipping and receiving team with daily and weekly schedule updates and documentation.
5. Scan to pdf and digitally file shipping documents
6. Review and manage spending to make sure shipping receipts are submitted and transactions are coded.
7. Update Smartsheet on the shipping status of projects to trigger automated workflows.
8. Communicate with customers to arrange shipping and delivery of products.
9. Update customers on Shipping status.
10. Field requests from installers and customers during logistics operations.
11. Assist in the purchasing and tracking of special orders.

Material Handling

1. Maintain inventory of packaging materials.
2. Safely package products for delivery.
3. Rig and move IDS products to stage for production and shipping.
4. Ensure all IDS products staged for shipping are clearly labeled.
5. Verify outgoing loads are whole and complete as per provided packing lists and associated installation instructions.
6. Verify incoming loads, unpackage and route as needed both physically and virtually.
7. Be actively engaged in processes to improve packaging and shipping.
8. Pickup and delivery of select shipments within the State of Colorado.
9. Safely package products for delivery.

Education and/or Experience

• Logistics experience preferred
• High School/GED, college degree preferred
• Experience in sales
• Client facing communication

Travel

Occasional travel may be required.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence as well as be able to speak effectively before groups and customers.

Reasoning Ability

• Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have computer skills.
