Location: Aurora, CO Clearance Required: Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) Contract Length: 12 months We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join a team working on mission-critical software development. This is a full-time contract opportunity for professionals passionate about building secure, scalable, and innovative solutions. Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in a STEM field with 5+ years of software development experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience OR PhD with 0 years of experience OR 9+ years of experience in lieu of a degree. * Experience as a front, back, or fullstack developer. * Proficiency in Java and object-oriented design * Familiarity with Agile development methodologies * Experience using version control software. * Active TS/SCI is required to be considered. * Current holding or have the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) Preferred Qualification: * Development in C++, C, Python, and/or JavaScript * Working in virtualized environments (e.g., VMs, AWS Cloud Instances) * Software development on Red Hat Enterprise Linux * Dockerization and container orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) * Use of Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) * Familiarity with AWS Services * Experience in software system integration, testing, and deployment * Exposure to DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices This is a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects in a secure and collaborative enviornment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $95.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
