The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University-New Brunswick (
EMNB) is comprised of eight student-facing and administrative units: Undergraduate Admissions, Graduate Admissions, the Office of Financial Aid, the Office of the Registrar, and the One Stop Student Services Center, as well as business, information technology, and strategy and analytics administrative teams. The division employs over 100 full-time staff and an additional 200+ student employees to fulfill its mission. Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Program Coordinator II for The Undergraduate Admissions Office within The Division of Enrollment Management at Rutgers University-New Brunswick (
EMNB). The position reports to the Director of International Admissions.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Represents Rutgers University-New Brunswick to an international audience of students, parents, counselors and other affiliates.
- Assists in the coordination of the office's events and communication initiatives and provide critical support for other projects as necessary.
- Travels abroad to conduct information sessions, presentations, and counseling sessions at high schools, colleges and other facilities to meet students, families and school/college personnel for the purpose of recruiting and enrolling international students.
- Communicates and develops relationships with high school and university personnel, internal Rutgers academic and administrative units, alumni, etc., in coordinating recruitment activities.
- Assists with the coordination, administration and implementation of recruitment/enrollment events or programs and with the development of event and program marketing materials and other communications for target audiences.
- Prepares reports, reviews applicant data, creates and maintains databases, conducts web research, organizes mailings or emails, and performs related duties as needed.
- Assists and supports on other projects as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree and at least (2) years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Certifications/Licenses |
- A valid driver's license would be required for this position.

- Solid judgment, organizational, planning, coordination, time management, multi-tasking and communication skills.
- Ability to be motivated and imaginative with the ability to handle considerable and varied responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

- Good computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications |
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- General computer literacy.
- Fluency in a foreign language.
- Fluency in Mandarin or Hindi.
- Previous experience in admissions or as a high school counselor.
