The Opportunity

DAT, an innovative SaaS company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant to join our accounting team in Beaverton, OR.

This is a critical role that will be instrumental in the successful integration of three newly acquired entities and the implementation of a new ERP system as well as ensuring the accuracy of financial records, adherence to accounting principles and regulations, and efficient financial management. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong background in complex accounting environments, including experience with a major ERP system like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.

What You'll Do



  • Oversee and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
  • Perform and/or perform 1st level review of complex account reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Ensure proper accruals, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts are maintained.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline accounting operations and improve internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls and support Finance leadership through the annual audit process.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, navigating the complexity of multiple sets of books
  • Develop, maintain and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize existing systems and implement new ERP solutions.
  • Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance.
  • Mentor a team of accounting professionals (accountant, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and payroll), ensuring their continuous development and growth.


The Skills and Experience You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and or Finance
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in as an experienced accountant role. Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a SaaS company, with a strong grasp of accounting for subscription-based revenue, deferred revenue, and customer lifecycle accounting.
  • Proven experience with system and process optimizations and ERP implementation and/or optimization. Experience leveraging technology to drive efficiency.
  • Extensive experience working in a complex ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). Experience with an ERP implementation is highly desirable. We currently use Great Plains as our ERP, however, will be migrating to a new ERP system in 2026.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP.
  • Experience with financial consolidations and reporting for a multi-entity organization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
