Civil/Site Engineering Intern

We are seeking highly-motivated Civil/Site students in the San Antonio, TX area to join our residential and commercial teams in our Civil/Site Discipline.

• Our interns will assist technical staff on day-to-day projects.
• Read and review project drawings and plans.
• Confer with engineers about preparing plans.
• Use AutoCAD and Civil 3D software under the charge of Engineers.
• Observe project sites and evaluate contractors' work to detect problems with a design.
• Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
• Prepare analyses from collected data.
• Set up and help maintain project files and records.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Civil/Site Development, or a related program.
• Must have reliable transportation to the office.
• Basic understanding of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess solid problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to work in a high-paced environment.
• Strong computer literacy, to include MS Office.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
