SPVR. Reporting to the Senior Associate Dean, this position oversees the law school's career services office.
This position will be responsible for and not limited to the following.
- Oversee the development of initiatives to expand and enhance placement opportunities for students and graduates
- Represent the law school in regional and national organizations
- Serve as liaison to judges, legal employers and other external constituencies
- Supervise 4 full-time staff (3 professional staff and 1 support staff) and 3-4 part-time staff

Work Arrangement |
Consistent with the current application of Rutgers Policy 60.3.22, this position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement. The flexible work arrangements outlined in Rutgers Policy 60.3.22 are part of a pilot program that is effective September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2024. Therefore, there is no guarantee that this flexible work arrangement will continue beyond that date. Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- J.D. and bar admission
- Minimum of 5+ years in higher education administration at a management level or 5+ years combined higher education administration and legal experience
- Computer skills, including ability to compile and analyze statistical data and reports
- Extensive knowledge of the legal profession
