Paint Helper

Do you have a keen eye for detail and experience prepping vehicles for a flawless finish? Staffmark is hiring an Paint Helper to join a respected local automotive team known for quality craftsmanship and long-term stability. In this role, you'll support a busy body shop and play a key part in preparing vehicles for expert paintwork.

Pay: $12.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (First Shift)

What You'll Do:

• Prep vehicles for painting by sanding, taping, and cleaning designated areas
• Apply masking tape to protect surfaces from overspray
• Remove components that may interfere with painting (mirrors, guards, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area before and after projects
• Assist the paint team to ensure smooth and efficient workflow

What We're Looking For:

• 2-3 years of experience prepping vehicles for paint in an automotive setting
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality prep work
• Knowledge of sanding, masking, and basic auto body prep techniques
• Proactive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
