Symitar Client Services Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working directly with clients to deliver meaningful solutions. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and take pride in building reliable, high-quality software, this role could be a great fit for you. As part of our team, you will support the systems our clients depend on every day, making sure they are working as expected and designed. You will analyze code, identify issues, design thoughtful fixes, and implement improvements that help financial institutions operate more efficiently. Your work will go beyond technical problem-solving. You will build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, and ensure that the solutions we provide meet their expectations.

This position can be worked remotely within the U.S. and will have a salary range of $65,000-$90,000 depending on experience and location.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Learn the Symitar database and its capabilities in depth.
  • Review, analyze and code fixes for custom programs for our clients.
  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.
  • Uses best practices and standard guidance to create and modify routine, low impact code.
  • Interact directly with our clients on a regular basis and keep them informed of all troubleshooting and fixes.
  • Assist other co-workers and contribute to our documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • May complete work effort estimates.
  • Adheres to documented departmental and corporate standards.
  • May perform other job duties assigned.

What you'll need to have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, with emphasis on supporting applications and implementing technical solutions.
  • Must have knowledge of JavaScript
  • Must have proficiency in one or more of these areas:
    • PowerFrame Docs
    • SymForm PDF
    • Enhanced Loan Application, Enhanced Membership Application, Enhanced Account Revision
    • PowerOn
    • Hands-on experience with Symitar
    • Advanced troubleshooting and analytical expertise
