Overview

Leads the in-house production facility, overseeing the execution of high-quality print and digital materials that support brand, marketing, and operational initiatives. This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, managing all aspects of production, from job intake and scheduling to budgeting, staffing, and quality control.



Responsibilities

    Leads the day-to-day operations of the in-house production facility, managing workflow and prioritizing projects to meet deadlines
  • Oversees the production of print and promotional materials such as postcards, banners, signs, stickers, displays, and branded collateral
  • Maintains alignment with brand standards and ensures consistency across all materials produced
  • Manages production staff, including assigning work, coaching, training, and performance evaluation
  • Collaborates with creative, marketing, and operations teams to align production output with campaign needs and timelines
  • Oversees equipment operation and routine maintenance; coordinates service and repairs as needed
  • Manages the production budget, including inventory, supplies, equipment, and outsourcing needs
  • Performs and oversees data preparation and layout for variable data printing; finalizes merges and ensures data and production accuracy
  • Identifies opportunities for increased efficiency, recommends new materials and equipment, and implements process improvements to enhance production capabilities and reduce costs
  • Maintains clear documentation for job tracking, quality control and inventory management and shipping lists; ensuring all finished materials are accurately packed, labeled, and delivered via internal or external distribution channels

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field and five (5) years relevant experience with at least two (2) years of supervisory or management experience or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to delegate, manage and supervise effectively
  • Ability to create process and procedures
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships
  • Skill in operating and maintaining printing equipment
  • Skill in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Ability to commute with own personal vehicle
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Functions involve the ability to exert light physical effort usually involving some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of light weight (up to 20 pounds). May involve some climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking or standing.
