 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PMOccasional overtime based on business and production needs

 Summary: Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment and buildings to company standard. Job Duties:

 PC to PLC program maintenance, troubleshooting, and control devicesEffectively use hand tools and electric or pneumatic power toolsPerform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipmentRead electrical schematicsDiagnose cause of electrical and mechanical failure of operational equipmentSet up new equipment lines and equipment changeoversTrain production and other maintenance personnelAbility to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due datesWork on electrical systems up to 480 VACStrong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controlsEnsure that all processes are followedComplete daily work order logComplete PM's as assignedFollow parts check out procedureFollow all GMP standardsAll other duties as assigned
 
 Qualifications: 
 
 
 Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred or High School Diploma plus at least three years of related experienceStrong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basisExperience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software)Ability to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc.Ability to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employeesThis position may require forklift certification
