Key Responsibilities
Core Requirements:
You'll work closely with our Energy Practice Lead and plant leadership to drive key initiatives like our
Asset Model Accelerator (AMA), which is AI-driven asset modeling with trusted, structured data. That means:
Speak the P&ID language to act as a translator and liaison across client conversations and our LLM/AI team development activities. Support the Engineering Specification Reconciliation initiative by reviewing legacy and E2G spec comparisons, identifying misalignments, and providing process-driven guidance to developers. Participate in early-stage solution delivery for key client proof-of-concept (POC) by translating domain knowledge into actionable development insights and assisting with contextualization efforts. Contribute to documentation, test plans, QA and QC routines, and feedback loops that shape AMA tooling and process logic. Support prompt engineering of facilities engineering to refine AMA performance/output Document review decisions and rationale in alignment with engineering best practices. Interpret piping class documentation and technical construction notes.
Must-Have Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
Strong understanding of Oil and Gas Facilities operations, with working knowledge of facility systems and maintenance practices. Familiarity with technologies commonly used in industrial facilities, including CMMS and engineering drawing repositories. Ability to interpret P&IDs, piping specifications, and engineering drawings. Comfortable moving between business conversations, technical design reviews, and development syncs. Able to support both E2G or other spec reconciliation from an engineering and data standpoint Experience with structured content such as piping classes, asset hierarchies, and tag mappings. Should also be able to support prompt development, vector search tools, and QA review cycles. Self-directed with strong communication skills (written and verbal), capable of working independently, synthesizing findings, and identifying gaps or improvement opportunities. Available for up to 40 hours per week, with working time overlapping with Mountain Time hours and flexibility to participate in team or client meetings as needed. Canadian, US citizen, or Visa holder with right to work in USA. We are not able to provide sponsorship for this role.

8+ years in Oil and Gas Facilities Engineering Background in Engineering, Industrial processes, or technical document analysis
Education
Engineering Degree or related field (or equivalent experience)
