EXCITED TO GROW YOUR CAREER? WE'RE GLAD YOU'RE HERE! Responsible for processing ARC settlement reports. Authorize an average 1.7 million per week cash remit settlement draft to pay ARC. Ensure adherence of ARC and airline regulations, ensures back-office functionality meets ARC requirements. Represents Maritz Travel in ARC matters and administers ARC products. Balances & maintains data integrity in Central Command for ARC Exchange transactions & Southwest Airlines non-ARC transactions. Administers airline refund requests & manages carrier debit memo process.

Primary Responsibilities

30%- ARC PROCESSING/ADMINISTRATION:Reconcile & balance ARC transactions daily, screening exchange transactions for consistency between ARC, Sabre & the back-office system. Communicate to the agents & QCA daily on procedural & financial errors.Reports ARC financial results to Financial Departments.Administers all ARC Application products, maintaining Team logins & passwords, & participating in new ARC application training or updates.Participates in ARC conference calls when invited to represent the Agency community.Communicates to Maritz Management on industry changes and challenges as it relates to ARC.

35%- REFUND PROCESSING/ DEBIT MEMO RESEARCH & PAYMENT:Screen tickets queued for refund, checking fare rules for penalty information.Process all ARC refunds in compliance with carrier policies.Submit correspondence to carriers when an ARC refund cannot be processed.Communicate with teams on refund documentation.Follow up on refunds as they age.Maintain spreadsheet for every carrier submitted refund request.Monitor ARC Memo Manager daily for new debit memos posted;Research Debit Memos to find disputable evidence and challenge invalid or questionable debit memos and negotiate resolution.Pay debit memos via ARC Reports.Track & report Debit Memos to Guest Services Management, QCA,& Financial Departments, tracking violations at a program level.

35%- SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION/ SOUTHWEST PROCESS/ MISCELLANEOUS:Monitors & update errors in the back-office system.Communicates validation rules and assist users.Back-office upgrades, testing, and implementing system changes.Engaged on back-office interface issues related to Impact & Oracle.Reconcile incoming WN emails with data in back-office system by updating ticket numbers.Invoice all exchanges.Validate WN credit online & forward for tracking.Pull MCOs and paper tickets for filing or distribution.Install monthly security updates & patches.Prepare Client Audit documents when requested.Work with Corporate Insurance Manager to obtain renewal of ARC security bonds.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience required.

2. ARC (Airline Report Corporation) certified, or willing to obtain certification within 45-60 days of hire

3. Accounting experience preferred

4. Years Travel Industry experience with strong emphasis on ticketing, debit memos, and refunds.

5. Strong working knowledge of SABRE and back-office systems functionality.

6. Knowledge of internal system/applications.
