How You'll Perform the Role

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and shipping department, including transportation requirements. He/she will manage a team of direct reports to coordinate the movement of finished goods through the warehouse, rotating the finished goods inventory, and picking/packing/shipping the finished goods in compliance with company and customer requirements. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, sanitation and cleanliness of the warehouse, docks and all related equipment. He will direct activities to limit costs, improve accuracy, and maintain exceptional customer service.



  • Track and maintain all shipping related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure productivity, quality and service level goals are exceeded.
  • Implement and assure all company safety programs and policies are followed.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate/review staff as required.
  • Distribute orders for picking to order pullers.
  • Monitor and administer all backorders and substitutions.
  • Promptly communicate backorders to customer service.
  • Daily verification and reconciliation of production.
  • Coordinate and manage cycle count and physical inventory process.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
  • Order all materials and supplies for the warehouse and shipping department.



What We Need From You

  • Bachelor's degree in distribution, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
  • Two years in production planning/control is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy with Windows, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and Internet along with Warehouse Management System.
  • Experience operating forklift equipment is preferred.
  • High level of discretion, confidentiality, and work ethics.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast pace environment.
