We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who will play a key role in supporting and executing quality initiatives under the leadership of the Director of Quality. Position Description:
The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for day-to-day quality engineering operations at the Motion Systems Division (MSD), ensuring that quality activities and documentation meet customer, industry, and regulatory standards. This position reports directly to the Director of Quality and supports implementation of strategic initiatives aligned with the overall Quality vision.
Essential Functions:
* Oversee execution of quality assurance and quality control activities for MSD's electro-mechanical product lines, including LVDTs, RVDTs, resolvers, actuators, and related systems.
* Support compliance with AS9100D, NADCAP, FAA, DCMA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
* Supervise and guide the daily work of quality engineering.
* Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to support root cause investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
* Assist with internal and external audits, including documentation preparation and audit support.
* Ensure departmental compliance with company quality processes and procedures.
* Maintain quality records and ensure proper documentation control.
* Support continuous improvement efforts and quality-related training programs.
* Monitor inspection workflows and adjust priorities to meet production needs.
* Provide performance feedback and coaching to quality team members.
* Report key quality metrics and issues to the Director of Quality.

* Solid problem-solving skills; familiarity with root cause and corrective action methodologies (8D, 5-Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
* Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
* Clear and professional communicator (oral and written)
* Comfortable working cross-functionally across departments
* Working knowledge of AS9100D and related quality standards
Required Experience & Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline required
* At least 5-8 years of experience in aerospace/defense quality management or quality engineering strongly preferred
* Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
* Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification preferred
* Familiarity with government contracting requirements (DCMA, ITAR, etc.) a plus
* Must be a U.S. Citizen
