The Office of the Registrar is responsible for registration, compliance, transcript management, degree conferral, document management, classroom scheduling, academic data reporting, Veteran benefits and Military Outreach.

The Office of the Registrar at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a part-time Enrollment Services Specialist (Temp).

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

Provide cross-functional services in the area of enrollment services to include: registration, academic and biographical records, and issues related to campus and online course enrollment from the start of their academic career up through graduation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide assistance with completing necessary processes and refer to appropriate resources on campus as necessary.

  • Provide excellent customer service within a high-volume Enrollment & Registration Services Center environment.

  • Public contact by counseling, advising, investigating, and problem-solving questions and issues from current and previous students, parents, faculty, staff, other college offices in all aspects of the enrollment process, including but not limited to in-depth registration, academic and biographical records, and issues related to campus and online course enrollment. Being responsible for charting each student in Salesforce and being logged in to our Q-Nomy system which students are queued for a better customer flow management. Live Chat in Salesforce and virtual appointments in Q-Nomy with assisting our students' portals.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in an enrollment services environment or unit (i.e., admissions, registrar, student accounts, academic records, financial aid, etc.)

  • Knowledge of Banner, admissions, registration, student accounts and financial aid.

  • Successful experience in a customer service environment.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills.

  • Level or experience with Salesforce (CRM) system and Q-Nomy queuing system.

  • Experience in higher education.

  • Experience with FERPA and laws governing financial aid.

  • Ability to multi-task; pay attention to detail; and exhibit excellent customer service skills.

  • Must have a collaborative, energetic and resourceful work style.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
