Position Overview

The Sr. Director Commercial Excellence, MCED is responsible for commercial excellence on Cancerguard globally. This role is responsible for identifying ways to improve our commercial effectiveness on Cancerguard in the US, and influence US sales leadership to implement the necessary changes. This role will also serve as the center of excellence for commercial aspects of Cancerguard globally and will enable rapid reapplication of learnings across markets. This role will report to the Chief Growth Officer, and will be accountable to the US sales leadership and International commercial leadership for enabling sales effectiveness on Cancerguard. The ideal candidate will bring deep commercial acumen, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven ability to influence across functions to accelerate MCED test adoption.

This position may be field based / remote.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partners with commercial leadership to influence selling materials, deployment of field resources and sales tactics that drive MCED test adoption.
  • Translate Cancerguard business goals into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment with Cologuard plans, and across US and International sales and marketing leadership
  • Monitor and analyze business performance metrics to inform leadership decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain high-trust, cross-functional partnerships to foster a culture of collaboration and results.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and special projects, ensuring alignment with MCED growth priorities.
  • Develop agile processes and tools to rapidly adopt and scale best practices across the region.
  • Consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities, including, but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team, foster a culture of high performance, lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future.
  • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
  • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
  • Ability to travel 50% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business administration or field as outlined in the essential duties.
  • 15+ years of experience in sales or commercial positions within Consumer Health care, Pharma, Diagnostics, Biotech, or Medical Device fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in leadership roles with increasing responsibility, including experience in leading sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with expertise in commercial operations, financial metrics, and customer insights.
  • Proven ability to lead high-performing commercial teams and drive organizational change.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or field as outlined in the essential duties.

Salary Range:

$208,000.00 - $354,000.00

The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible.
