Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Cameron School of Business ( CSB) is seeking a motivated and service-oriented individual to serve as a Temporary Recruiter and Enrollment Specialist in the Graduate Programs Office. This position plays a vital role in supporting enrollment efforts for CSB's graduate programs through prospective student outreach, application support, current student advising and support and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

This position may require irregular work hours, including occasional evenings and weekends.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a closely related field, with three years of progressive experience in academic advising, student support services, or a comparable area; or a Master's degree in Business, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Student Affairs, or a closely related discipline.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Master's degree in business or related field, or current enrollment in a graduate program.
  • Experience in higher education, admissions, recruitment, or student services.
  • Experience with CRM, in particular, Hubspot.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Please note, this is a temporary position. The length of the assignment will be based on department need with the possibility of continuation. Temporary assignments cannot exceed 11 consecutive months without a full 31-day break from employment. Employees in temporary positions are not considered permanent state employees and do not earn leave. Temporary employees are subject to the Affordable Care Act guidelines.
