Configuration Management Analyst
Overview A Configuration Management Certification Analyst provides support to the shipyard, ship's management, the Supervisor of Shipbuilding and NAVSEA by reporting accurate and official status of liabilities in support of major Test milestones and ship certifications. This group is responsible to review all engineering and design changes products in support of certification events, including but not limited to WDRs, DFSs, LARs, RLARs, CR/CN/ERs to ensure compliance with all applicable process and procedures and work with Design/Engineering to resolve issues as necessary. This group is directly responsible to ensure that these products are correctly loaded and tracked in our CM systems in support of certification events. The group will be working products in EB3G/MRPII, ELCADD, & Teamcenter. This position involves the ability to interpret liabilities and provide guidance for technical support documents and directives. Applicants may act as liaison between the design agent and construction yard by expediting liabilities and participating in regular meetings to support key event certifications. Applicants must interact with other departments including Ship's Management, Engineering, Planning, Design, Program Office and Supervisor of Shipbuilding. This position is to support the newly created COLUMBIA ECM Certification group. This group is expected to support certification events during off-hours and weekends if needed. Supporting ship certification requires analysts to be in-plant. Work from home is permitted within the group in moderation once job competency is achieved. Qualifications Required:
