Primary Responsibility: The Strategic Account Sales Director will lead and manage a team of Strategic Account Managers, tasked with expanding sales and profitability with large enterprise-wide clients, national accounts and government entities through a process-driven and disciplined professional selling approach.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist the EVP of Americas in executing the company's Strategic Account strategy
  • Develop and drive a go-to-market strategy relevant to the National Accounts and Government segments
  • Support and develop a team of Strategic Account Managers within various segments
  • Drive the teams' execution of Strategic Account Sales Management Process
  • Conduct regular 1:1s with individual team members
  • Strategize with team on how to co-create value within teams' assigned accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments & team members to support the success of Strategic Accounts (ie. Marketing, Finance, Product Management, etc.)
  • Develop executive relationships within key Strategic Accounts
  • Participate in regular internal and external Business Reviews
  • Establish annual sales targets
  • Manage team pipeline of opportunities in line with commercial priorities
  • Support team in fast-paced, "start-up" environment
  • Manage Team P/L

The ideal candidate will demonstrate these preferred competencies:

  • Understanding of Strategic Account Management processes and competencies
  • High-performing team leadership
  • Situational Leadership
  • Experience with P/L management
  • Familiarity with SAMA 7-Step Account Management Process (or similar) preferred
  • Active member of Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA), including but not limited to C-SAM (SAM certification) preferred

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in business or equivalent required
  • 5+ years of strategic, sales experience with demonstrated successes supporting large, enterprise-wide customer relationships
  • 5+ years of previous people leadership
  • Experience with SFDC CRM preferred
  • Must possess strong communication skills, ability to respond, sense of urgency, prioritize efforts and problem solving
  • Exceptional business acumen and sales presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted internal, cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales revenue and non-revenue KPIs

The estimated pay range indicates the expected annualized pay range for this position. The actual pay offered may vary based on several factors, including the applicant's qualifications, relevant experience, unique skills, education level, certifications or licenses, and the location from which they will work.
