The Contribution You'll bring to this Role:

AccuformNMC is a leading manufacturer of industrial safety identification products. We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Product Management to lead the product strategy, development, and lifecycle management for our portfolio of safety signage products. This role will oversee product planning from concept through commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulatory compliance, and market trends within the industrial safety sector. A significant focus will be placed on driving new product development initiatives to enhance our product offerings and meet the emerging market demands.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in product management, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and expertise in regulatory and compliance-driven product categories such as OSHA, ANSI, or ISO-based safety signage and labeling.

What You'll Do at Justrite:

Product Strategy & Roadmap:

• Develop and own the strategic product roadmap for safety signage across all channels (distribution, end user, eCommerce).
• Lead market research and voice-of-customer efforts to identify new product opportunities and enhancements.
• Prioritize new product development initiatives to ensure a steady pipeline of innovative products that meet market needs.

Lifecycle Management:

• Direct the full lifecycle of products from ideation through end-of-life, ensuring profitability and market relevance. This includes managing new product development timelines, creating project plans, identifying sourcing needs, and consistently troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Manage SKU rationalization and product line optimization to drive operational efficiency.
• Understand competitive forces; conduct periodic market evaluations; assist in creating new product roadmaps based on solid fundamentals for opportunity.
• Conduct category line reviews and support the sales organization in identifying opportunities for cross-sell and driving product portfolio to market.
• Collect and leverage voice of customer and voice of distributor to craft differentiated value propositions in key product categories and target verticals.
• Build business cases to support investment in new programs; drive NPI (New Product Introduction) projects to meet schedule milestones and tollgates; collaborate cross-functionally as appropriate to develop commercialization plans.
• Create and manage pricing strategies.

Cross-Functional Leadership:

• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective product launches.
• Drive go-to-market strategies, including pricing, packaging, and promotional plans.
• Support sales and participate in key industry events and customer meetings through presentations as appropriate to promote the product, services, and overall brand.

Compliance & Industry Expertise:

• Ensure all products meet relevant safety, environmental, and industry-specific compliance standards (OSHA, ANSI, ISO, NFPA, etc.).
• Stay current on regulatory changes and translate them into product and business opportunities.

People and Team Development:

• Manage expectations, performance, and result-focused product marketing initiatives through a team of individual contributors. Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation and accountability. Initiate ongoing staff communication and performance feedback, and coach managers on developing others. Support the JSG Code of Conduct and Core Value initiatives.

Budget Management and Reporting:

• Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the product management team, headcount, product development resources, and activities. Monitor progress and evaluate performance.
• Establish goals and deadlines for NPD (New Product Development) initiatives, and tie back actual performance to revenue impact.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

• Preferred bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in the safety signage, labeling, or industrial manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, ISO, or other regulatory requirements related to safety products.
• Proven ability to launch new products, manage P&L, and drive revenue growth.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $155,000.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevant experience and performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
