Elevate your possibilities The Johns Hopkins Hospital-The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a 49 bed Level IV unit. The unit is a regional referral center for both mothers and babies. The staff cares for neonates as young as 24 weeks gestation up through full-term infants with complex congenital anomalies. The full range of services for neonates is provided including neonatal care immediately after birth, newborn therapeutic hypothermia, and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation. The unit is also a part of the Maryland Regional Neonatal Transport Team providing efficient ground and air transportation services for this young population. Click here to learn more about the NICU! The Lead Clinical Nurse (LCN) provides guidance and direction to staff and acts in the absence of the Assistant Nurse Manager/Nurse Manager to oversee a clinical team during care delivery and unit operations. The LCN has the ability to lead others, assist in development & implementation of procedures for the unit, use principles of conflict resolution, recommend resource utilization, and implement performance management of staff. Salary Range: Minimum 43.93/hour - Maximum 68.09/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
