Job Duties: Associate, Business Unit COO with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Dallas, Texas. Build and manage relationships with a range of stakeholders including leadership across Sales, Trading, Strats, and other teams. Monitor capacity and usage of firm risk and resources against expected trading activity for the Mortgages and Structured Products business. Execute on regulatory deliverables including CCAR and Volcker requirements. Manage reporting and analysis of key business metrics including revenue, expenses, and returns. Produce presentations for various audiences including firmwide leadership, business review committees, and regulators. Perform analysis on client wallets and work with sales to identify opportunities to increase wallet share. Manage approval requests for new trading activities to ensure coordination across key stakeholders across the firm including Compliance, Legal, Risk, Controllers, Technology, and Operations. Execute business re-organizations in partnership with leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure appropriate supervisory structures, reporting capabilities, and controls.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Alternative Investments, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business, Alternative Investments, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include one (1) year of experience (with a Master's degree) OR three (3) years of experience (with a Bachelor's degree) with: communicating risk issues, performance analytics, and business initiatives to various stakeholders; reviewing and validating stress loss model results of the expected financial performance of mortgage products across potential financial scenarios for the firm's CCAR process; advanced Microsoft Excel including data analysis in order to identify performance trends across measures such as trading volumes, market share, and financial metrics; working with Basel and Volcker related rules; financial markets including securitized products and secondary loan trading; project manage infrastructure changes and new business initiatives across a broad set of stakeholders; and working with visualization tools and Microsoft PowerPoint and presenting to senior leadership within an organization.
