Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Accounts Receivable is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate collection of company revenues. This role involves managing a team, improving cash flow, minimizing risk, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. Duties and Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the accounts receivable department, including billing, collections, credit management, and cash application. * Lead and mentor a team of AR specialists and analysts, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback. * Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and accuracy. * Monitor aging reports, identify risks, and develop strategies for reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO). * Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, legal, etc.) to resolve billing and payment issues. * Establish credit limits, assess customer creditworthiness, and oversee credit risk management practices. * Prepare and present regular AR performance reports to leadership. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards GAAP)internal controls, and audit requirements. * Manage relationships with key customers to ensure positive payment experiences and resolve disputes. * Support month-end and year-end closing processes including account reconciliations and financial reporting. * Identify and implement automation or system improvements to streamline AR processes. * SME of AR systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), and financial reporting tools. * Other duties as deemed necessary. Minimum Education: BA/BS degree in a related field Minimum Work Experience:
