As a member of the Product Data Control group, you have the opportunity to facilitate the creation and maintenance of the high-level engineering documentation needed to generate engineering design content onto customer orders. You will work closely with internal departments: Design Engineering, Documentation, Launch & Change Management and other teams to implement a wide variety of engineering design projects, and utilize your skills to analyze issues and implement solutions.

Position offers a starting salary range of $65,000 - $83,000 USD

Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, andexperience

What You Drive At DTNA

  • Review, develop, and maintain engineering design data and related engineering information sources - including design charts, generated charts, assigned codes, module control table data, order processing sequence table, and design guidelines - used in engineering order translation to select engineering design documentation and create the vehicle specification information
  • Analyze and approve engineering work and review projects for impact on order translation processing and backlog
  • Support the management and updating of preseries vehicles for engineering projects
  • Audit production build schedules to ensure the backlog of vehicle specifications reflect accurate engineering documentation requirements for planned engineering design changes
  • Collaborate with design engineering to improve order translation results via failure analysis
  • Assist in the refinement and development of departmental procedures, practices and processes
  • Complete other supporting duties as needed

Knowledge You Should Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university/college OR 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree required
  • Analytical with the ability to visualize multiple possible solutions to a problem required
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Problem solving skills, and continuous improvement skills with successful implementation required
  • Well-organized, ability to manage multiple detailed tasks simultaneously, and effectively prioritize work required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required

Exceptional Candidates Might Have

  • Degree focus in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline (if applicable) preferred
  • Prefer 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • General truck and component knowledge preferred
  • Experience with Visual Basic for Applications or any programming language preferred
