Summary: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our IT team. This role is responsible for providing Tier 1/2 technical support across the organization, handling escalated incidents, and performing advanced troubleshooting of complex technical issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices, and will contribute to improving IT support processes and service quality. Responsibilities: * Provide troubleshooting and resolution for escalated support issues related to hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment (e.g., printers, scanners). * Escalate unresolved or complex issues to Tier 3 or relevant engineering teams, documenting detailed troubleshooting steps and resolution attempts. * Monitor systems and ticket queues, participate in post-incident reviews, and implement findings to minimize recurrence of issues. * Manage hardware and software inventory through asset management tools, assisting with tracking, imaging, configuration, and deployment. * Ensure systems are compliant with organizational standards and security guidelines. * Provide rotational coverage of the support phone queue, assisting Tier 1 by handling overflow and high-priority incoming calls. * Ensure all configurations and incident resolutions align with IT policies, change control procedures, and security best practices. Qualifications: * Proven experience in desktop support role (1+ years) * Strong knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and mobile device troubleshooting. * Familiarity with asset management tools and IT service management systems. * Experience imaging devices. * Ability to work collaboratively with Tier 1 personnel and other IT teams. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
