Summary: We are seeking a Service Desk Support Specialist for a hybrid position in Milwaukee, requiring on-site presence three days per week. This person will provide technical support to internal users, addressing a wide range of IT-related issues and ensuring high-quality customer service.
Responsibilities: * Respond to and troubleshoot 1st and 2nd level support tickets, ideally using tools like ServiceNow. * Resolve issues related to Windows operating systems and the Microsoft 365 suite. * Provide diagnostics and support for end-user tools and applications. * Document problem-solving techniques and resolution steps. * Provision and order software and physical assets, maintaining accurate asset records. * Monitor system health and reported incidents to assess service quality. * Escalate unresolved issues and facilitate resolution activities. * Prepare metric analyses and evaluate operating SLAs. * Stay current with new technologies and recommend improvements. * Handle high call volumes and resolve time-sensitive technical problems. Qualifications: * Knowledge of current IT trends, operating systems, applications, and equipment. * Understanding of programming logic as it relates to IT support. * Ability to communicate effectively and professionally. * Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals and instructions. * Strong research skills using various media including manuals and internet resources. Work Schedule: * Monday to Friday, either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. * Hybrid schedule with on-site presence required three days per week. * On-call rotation every six weeks. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.26/hr.
