Associate Software Engineer General Summary: The Associate Software Engineer will design, develop, test, deploy and refactor custom Angular and .NET applications to support the business. Associate Software Engineers will also work with Microsoft SQL Server databases and resolve technical issues through debugging and troubleshooting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the core development of our custom internal and external facing enterprise applications leveraging Angular and Microsoft .Net technologies (C#, ASP.Net, MVC, SQL Server). Partner and collaborate with other technical and non-technical business areas to implement solutions. Deliver solutions and supporting accurate documentation in line with departmental policy, standards, procedures and best practices for assigned applications and systems. Participate on project teams providing deliverables per project schedule. Perform other duties as needed to support the team and the business. Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Knowledge at a level normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. 0-3 years of development experience in object-oriented programming language along with classwork in or understanding of architecture, data management, and SOLID and OO principles. Exposure to automated testing. Exposure to HTML/HTML5, CSS. Exposure to Web Services/APIs. Exposure to ASP.NET or other web development frameworks. Exposure to SQL. Ability to collaborate in a team environment and willingness to work in a rapidly changing/ highly regulated environment. Demonstrates interests in working with a variety of backgrounds and perspectives that align with the Bank's core value. Promotes an environment of empathy and respect to ensure the inclusion of all team members. Working Conditions: Requires daily interaction with team members and PCs for majority of duties. Occasionally requiring work outside the Bank's normal business hours (i.e. weekends, evenings or early morning).
