As a global leader in audio innovation, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Market Development Specialist II to champion our conferencing and collaboration solutions in the Southeast U.S. region. In this strategic role, you'll take a growth-oriented approach to expanding Shure's footprint by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating meaningful relationships with End-Users and Influencers. You'll play a key role in aligning regional initiatives with Shure's broader sales strategy, driving impactful engagement and delivering valuable market insights. This is a remote position based in the Southeast U.S., preferably in the Atlanta Metro area.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with IT and AV/IT decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry associations to position Shure as a trusted conferencing and collaboration provider.
- Strategize and execute initiatives to expand market presence by positioning Shure's conferencing solutions as a core value proposition.
- Support clients with product specification, demonstrations, commissioning, and training.
- Identify and prioritize new market opportunities, focusing on unified communications and hybrid collaboration in Enterprise and Higher Education.
- Provide field insights to Product Planning and Marketing teams to guide product development.
- Track and report on competitor activity, pricing, and positioning.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and presentations to increase product awareness among End Users and Influencers.
- Share market intelligence and tools to support sales efforts and customer engagement.
- Assist with planning and logistics for conferences, webinars, and special events.
- Manage demo equipment and loaner inventory to support trials and training.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support regional and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Must reside in the Atlanta Metro area.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a strong understanding of audio and conferencing technologies.
- Familiarity with collaboration, conferencing, and networking technologies, including their applications in professional environments.
- Working knowledge of audio DSP systems and related tools.
- Hands-on experience in technical support, system setup, or AV system design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver effective presentations.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Willingness to travel up to 20 weeks per year, including occasional weekends.

PAY TRANSPARENCY Shure offers a competitive compensation structure that is reviewed annually to attract, hire, and retain the industry's top talent. Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $x to $x, with a target salary of $x-$x/with a midpoint target. This position may also be eligible for our incentive pay program, which varies based on individual and Company performance in the year.
