Job DescriptionSummary: Purpose of the role: The Lean Coach is responsible for providing hands-on support and guidance to implement Toyota Production System (TPS) methodologies within our manufacturing environment. This role focuses on direct shop floor coaching, capability building, and leading improvement activities to enhance operational excellence across all aspects of production and support functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, or a combination of experience and education. Minimum 7 years of hands-on manufacturing experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing Demonstrated expertise in Toyota Production System principles and tools Direct experience implementing lean in complex manufacturing environments Strong understanding of quality systems and regulatory requirements Experience with manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, and assembly Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects Strong coaching and facilitation skills Excellent problem-solving capabilities using TPS methodologies Experience working with precision tolerances and quality requirements Understanding of high-mix, low-volume production environments Preferred Qualifications:
