Position Title: Formulation Chemist Work Location: Irvine, CA Assignment Duration: 2 years Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite Position Summary: This position will be responsible for executing formulation development projects in collaboration with staff scientists from the organization product development team. Background & Context: This role supports topical cosmetic/OTC skincare formula development projects. Key Responsibilities: Manufacturing topical cosmetic/OTC skincare formulas Maintaining laboratory notebooks and databases Managing raw material inventories and vendor relationships Conducting stability studies Performing analytical testing Supporting pilot/scale-up activities Qualifications & Experience: 5 + years minimum experience in topical cosmetic/OTC formulation development is required for level III. Manager would also be open to candidates with less experience (2-5 years) at level II Working knowledge of topical cosmetic/OTC laboratory methods and familiarity with GLP/GMP Hands-on experience operating laboratory equipment used in topical cosmetic/OTC formula development Experience in pilot/scale-up activities would be a plus Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work in fast-paced environment Team player with a positive mindset
