Description

The Commercial Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business performance, coordinating key operational processes, and supporting strategic initiatives in areas such as incentive plan design, Salesforce reporting, budgeting, vendor management, and recruiting campaigns. The Analyst will also assist in post-closing reviews, loan pricing monitoring, and employee onboarding, with a strong emphasis on strategic planning to optimize efficiency and profitability.



  • Partner with leadership to develop and monitor KPIs for the Commercial Bank's strategic plan
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports to inform decision-making
  • Design, maintain, and deliver Salesforce dashboards and reports to track pipeline, production, and relationship management activities
  • Assist in designing and administering commercial banker incentive compensation plans
  • Perform post-closing quality control reviews and analysis to ensure policy compliance
  • Monitor loan pricing and profitability metrics and perform market research and analysis to provide recommendations to improve margins
  • Support the budgeting process, including variance analysis and expense monitoring
  • Collaborate with and build vendor relationships, and assist with contracts, and performance tracking for Commercial Banking
  • Coordinate recruiting campaigns for commercial banking positions


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required with Finance or Accounting concentration preferred
  • 3-5 years experience analyzing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (Salesforce experience highly preferred). Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and present actionable insights to executives. Knowledge of commercial banking products, credit processes, and financial performance metrics


Skills:



  • Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential functions of the position
  • Lifting in an office setting may be required up to 30lbs.
