Job Overview
Chugach Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly qualified Professional Development & Training (PDT) and Acquisition & Assistance (A&A) Specialist to support the USAID Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA). This position provides programmatic, technical, and administrative support to the Acquisition Career Manager (ACM) in assessing training needs, managing certifications, and supporting the professional development of the A&A workforce. This position is remote-eligible within the United States. Salary Range- $145,000- $175,000 Work Model: Remote
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Job Functions:
- Perform analytical and specialized administrative duties to ensure efficient compliance functions and office operations.
- Perform advanced word processing and desktop publishing, including complex presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and graphs.
- Research, compile, summarize, and analyze information to assess A&A regulatory compliance.
- Assess the importance and priority of issues for escalation to the ACM; respond to inquiries regarding the USAID acquisition workforce via the centralized mailbox as necessary.
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information, files, records, and reports.
- Promote and ensure clear communication within the Agency regarding Federal accreditation and training matters.
- Manage and coordinate projects and programs to ensure high-quality results within required time frames.
- Assist the acquisition workforce with FAITAS functionality, including registration, certification, and continuing learning point (CLP) modules
- Develop FAQs on Federal Acquisition Certifications (FAC) and CLPs.
- Assist in developing PDT standard operating policies and procedures.
- Support program analysis and processing of applications for Federal Acquisition Accreditation; recommend actions to the ACM to improve operations.
- Support data gathering and reporting for internal and external inquiries.
- Assist A&A Policy Analysts in managing and triaging inquiries via centralized mailboxes.
Accountable For:
- Knowledge of FAR, AIDAR, 2 CFR 200, USAID policies, and acquisition workforce certification requirements.
- Skilled in research and analysis, program and policy support, advanced document preparation, and USAID systems (GLAAS, Phoenix, ASIST).
- Ability to support training and certification programs; manage sensitive information; develop SOPs; and coordinate across offices.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 3+ years of USAID-specific A&A experience (e.g., GS-1102, Management and Program Analyst, or equivalent).
- Familiarity with FAR, AIDAR, 2 CFR 200, and USAID policies.
- Strong analytical and writing abilities.
- Proficiency in USAID systems such as GLAAS, Phoenix, and ASIST.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test.
Preferred:
- Certification in Contracting (e.g., FAC-C, CPCM, or CPM).
- Experience supporting USAID A&A workforce training and certification programs.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week. Remote-eligible within the United States. Work requires responsiveness to training program demands, compliance deadlines, and inquiries from USAID workforce.
Physical Requirements:
- Primarily sedentary, requiring extended use of computers and frequent document preparation.
