Staffmark is hiring Production Line Associates to join a globally respected seafood processing company in Milford, DE. This entry-level role is part of the clean and prep department, where clams are mechanically shucked, inspected, processed, and packed.

Pay Rate: $15.00/hour

Shift:



  • Must be able to work a variable schedule based on production requirements
  • Shifts can extend up to 13 hours (6:00 AM-5:00 PM or 5:00 AM until finished)
  • Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required depending on demand



Responsibilities:



  • Inspect clams on the production line for defects and foreign materials
  • Weigh, load, and prepare products for storage or shipment
  • Perform housekeeping tasks such as floor washdowns, product shoveling, and salt tank refills
  • Complete quality checks and counts, with the ability to read, write, and do basic math



Requirements:



  • Ability to follow all workplace safety rules and wear required PPE
  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced environment
