Responsibilities
* Ability to unload and process in-bound orders for receipt in SAP. * Ability to operate forklift, dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material * Inspects inbound shipments for damage or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel. * Analyze, process and prepare orders in SAP for delivery to both Domestic and International destinations. * Ability to review, and pack orders for shipment. * Completes picking orders and material for other departments according to pick list and material requisitions, including relevant SAP transactions. * Ability to run daily cycle count and reconciliation of material to meet inventory accuracy objectives. * Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft Office-based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook. * Ability to process orders for shipment in standard courier system software e. FedEx, UPS. * Ability to monitor, and order shipping supplies. * Essential cross functional team work skills, to be able to communicate regularly with other departments requiring shipping assistance. * Excellent clerical, data entry skills to maintain integrity of inventory accuracy in database, file records and perform routine audits. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Time management skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment. * Working knowledge of manufacturing and inventory control methodologies. * Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards. * Performs other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS: * Must be able to work standing, sitting and walking for the majority of a scheduled shift. * Must be able to push cart holding up to 50 lbs. occasionally. * May be asked to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally. * Job requires frequent reaching, bending, stooping and kneeling. * Job requires frequent handwriting onto inventory cards. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: * Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution and Material Movement modules is preferred. * Knowledge of Export compliance regulations preferred. * Experience with and understanding of warehouse operations, and is capable of applying knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. * Ability to perform tasks requiring analysis and judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. * Ability to follow daily standard work instructions, with minimal supervision, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments. EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * Minimum of 3 year related Shipping/Receiving and Warehouse experience required. 5 years of experience is preferred. * Experience in fast paced, technical, manufacturing environment required. * Education: Minimum High School graduate. Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred. At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $50,400.00/yr. and $84,000.00/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
