Duties/Responsibilities:

• 
  

  1-2 years of crane service technician or relevant trade experience preferred (electrical, mechanical, etc.).

  
  

• 
  

  Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical, electrical, and industrial skills.

  
  

• 
  

  Position focused primarily on inspections.

  
  

• 
  

  Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.

  
  

• 
  

  Developmental opportunities to repair, upgrade/modify, install/wire/startup and commission overhead cranes (all manufacturers and types).

  
  

• 
  

  Work at heights up to 135 feet with AWP (manlift).

  
  

• 
  

  Electrical background and ability to troubleshoot are a plus.

  
  

• 
  

  Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  
  

• 
  

  Travel as needed, on occasion.

  
  

• 
  

  Valid Driver's License and clean driving record a must.

  
  

• 
  

  Pay commensurate with experience

  
  

Required Skills/Abilities

• 
  

  Working knowledge of general electrical concepts a plus.

  Must be mechanically inclined.

  Fabrication and rigging a plus.

  Works well independently and as a productive member of a team.

  Basic ability in mathematics, reading, or writing.

  
  

Education and Experience:

• 
  

  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  
  

Physical Requirements:

  Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.

  Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.

  Must not be afraid of heights.

  
  

• 
  

  Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis; lift 50# on occasion.

  Must have manual dexterity to repair/inspect a crane including bending, stooping, crawling, twist, reach, climbing and reaching.

  Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).

  Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.

  
  

• 
  

  Must wear safety glasses, gloves, and ear and fall protection
