Position Summary

The University of New Mexico's Project ECHO has an amazing opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our New Mexico Community Peer Education Project (NMCPEP) team! This individual will be dedicated to analyzing the program's significant data entry and reporting.

NMCPEP is a collaboration between Project ECHO and the New Mexico Corrections Department. With a solutions-based focus, NMCPEP works closely with a marginalized population of returning citizens to train them to become Community Peer Educators (CPEs). The goal of the project is to increase an individual's efficacy to ensure successful transition into the community and ultimately reduce recidivism.

As a successful Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

* Collecting, organizing, and validating all ECHO session data including participant details, attendance records, case presentation information, and learning objectives to ensure completeness and accuracy in the program platforms. Overseeing and managing the teleconference post session's materials, announcements, and reporting, all of which are data-driven, in the iECHO platform.

* Analyzing the program's historical data to identify trends in participation, retention, quality improvement opportunities, replication best practices, and resource utilization. Using this data to optimize workshop schedules, identify high-performing topics, and forecast resource needs.

* Tracking and reporting workshop attendance to assess engagement metrics and ensure accurate issuance of Community Service Credits (CSC). Logging and tracking issued CSC's in the project Smartsheet for record-keeping and compliance.

* Monitoring and evaluating the impact of incentives on attendance and engagement, providing data-driven insights for future incentive strategies. Generating reports on distribution trends for internal and partnership review.

* Collecting and analyzing data related to healthcare access services (e.g., HCV testing, SUD treatment) and preparing detailed reports for stakeholders. Analyzing participant engagement data to ensure flyers, project information, and hiring materials are relevant and effective.

* Providing regularly requested and approved data reports to CPEP stakeholders, highlighting progress, trends, and areas for improvement.

* Providing specialized administrative support in the operation, implementation, and retention of the project's workshops and peer-to-peer engagements, both in-person and virtually.

* Traveling to the ECHO Institute in Albuquerque or to other designated locations within the state to support tasks and projects with the team, as necessary.

* Working with the Sr. Program Manager to coordinate and/or facilitate monthly program meetings to provide collaborative opportunities, routine project updates, address any challenges, questions, and/or concerns.

* Maintaining records of communication metrics, including frequency and response rates, to measure the effectiveness of outreach and engagement efforts. Leveraging data visualization and reporting tools to effectively communicate project updates, direct service schedules, and outcomes to Probation and Parole Supervisors or Region Managers.

* Collecting and processing survey data, ensuring timely entry into the project database. Scanning and digitizing paper-based surveys and incentive tracking.

* Ensures tracking of Continuing Education Unit certificates for Community Peers after attending full teleconference sessions.

* Tracking and monitoring supply and technology orders from request to delivery. Using data management tools to log order progress, identify delays, and ensure timely receipt of items.

* Designing, updating, and monitoring dashboards to report pertinent data tailored to the needs of external partners, stakeholders, and internal teams. Ensuring data visualizations are clear, actionable, and aligned with project objectives. Tracking key performance indicators and project progress.

* Using data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform staff, consultants, and community-based organizations on project objectives, progress, and areas needing attention. Tracking and evaluating collaboration outcomes for continuous improvement.
