Description

  • Supervises general housekeeping activities and assists with the daily preparation of the Cooperative facilities.
  • Reviews inventory levels of housekeeping materials and supplies and informs management of possible changes. Purchases materials and supplies, and ensures the efficient use of resources.
  • Ensures that all building procedures are followed and that all buildings are secure after evening housekeeping shift is finished.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining work processes for the janitorial staff.
  • Performs all tasks in a safe and timely manner to meet deadlines required for normal daily operations and special business functions.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, plus specialized training, plus 3 or more years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid Driver's License required.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

1-2 years supervisory experience.
