ABOUT THE JOB

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team onsite in Mankato, Minnesota. This role is pivotal in supporting the Facility Manager, local management staff, and the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in HR operations, employee relations, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities



  • Oversee payroll preparation and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide confidential and timely support to employee inquiries.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and records.
  • Supervise HR team members.
  • Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding processes.
  • Plan and manage employee events and benefit programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Coach management on performance reviews, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct exit interviews and recommend improvements for employee engagement.
  • Manage workers' compensation claims and act as liaison with insurance providers.
  • Support succession planning and staffing strategies.
  • Generate reports and analyze employment data to identify trends and best practices.
  • Order uniforms, supplies, and safety gear.
  • Participate in facility projects and training initiatives.

ABOUT YOU



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • High level of discretion, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to enforcing company policies fairly and consistently.
