Job Description

As a Logistics Manager, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing our UPS-SCS-based logistics network, ensuring compliance with international regulations, managing Importer of Record (IOR)/Exporter of Record (EOR) relationships, and addressing global trade issues, approving commercial invoices and templates etc. This position manages forward and reverse logistics and field service inventory planning. Your extensive experience in global logistics will enable you to seamlessly integrate into our team and contribute to our mission from day one.

Key Responsibilities:

    Manage and optimize DDN's GSS logistics network, UPS-SCS to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products globally
  • Manage the forward and reverse logistics and planning teams.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including IOR/EOR requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with IOR/EOR partners and coordinate global trade and strategic planning activities
  • Work directly with the factory on open order backlogs.
  • Control costs to ensure adherence to budget.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline logistics processes and improve overall efficiency
  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure continuous compliance and innovation
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Sr. Manager of Global Support Logistics

Job Requirements

Applicants should have the following

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • 5 years of global logistics experience
  • SFDC experience is a plus
  • Oracle experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with UPS-SCS as a partner is a plus
  • Strong capabilities using Excel required
  • Good presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally
