Staffmark is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Coordinator for a direct hire opportunity.
This role is essential in creating and maintaining a safe work environment through the development, implementation, and enforcement of safety policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OSHA regulations, occupational health standards, and a proven ability to lead safety training and investigations.

Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities



  • Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and EHS standards.
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to ensure compliance.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions on safety protocols, emergency response, and PPE use.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety training, incidents, and compliance reporting.
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a strong safety culture across the organization.
  • Monitor and stay current on changes to occupational health, environmental regulations, and workers' compensation law.
  • Prepare and present safety performance reports for management review.



Qualifications



  • Previous experience as a Safety Coordinator (industrial or manufacturing setting strongly preferred).
  • Solid knowledge of OSHA, EPA, workers' compensation law, and EHS best practices.
  • CPR certification preferred; additional occupational health certifications a plus.
  • Strong report writing and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective safety training materials.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
