About the Role
We are looking for a Clinical Vendor Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the implementation of the supplier strategy for clinical research vendors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, developing and managing supplier relationships, assisting in negotiations, and providing guidance to clinical study teams during the clinical supplier outsourcing lifecycle. This is a remote position, and you can work from home in most locations within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation of the clinical vendor strategy established by Clinical Affairs Leadership.
- Supports vendor identification, selection, and management and/or recommends existing service providers to meet project needs.
- Supports the development and maintenance of the RFI/RFP templates.
- Provides guidance to clinical study teams on the completion of the RFI/RFP.
- Partners with cross functional teams to support supplier risk evaluations.
- Monitor and track contract expiration to ensure agreements remain current.
- Supports monitoring, tracking, escalation of vendor performance and participate in vendor issue escalation
- Partners with Clinical Study Teams and Procurement to reviews Statements of Work and Change Orders for consistency across clinical studies and supports negotiation during contract and change order process
- Ensures vendor documentation is stored and available to support regulatory inspections.
- Participate in Continual Improvement Projects and maintain knowledge of industry and regulatory trends as required to meet business needs and perform the responsibilities of the position
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent Project Management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a professional working style
- Demonstrated influencing skills
- Ability to conceptualize, build, and maintain relationships with vendors
- Ability to build a functional network with a variety of disciplines including clinical affairs, procurement, quality assurance, regulatory and legal
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in biomedical research and development including vendor oversight
This position offers a remote work arrangement in the country from which the Associate is employed. Eligibility is dependent on the responsibilities of the role and business needs, and the Associate must agree to comply with Gore's work arrangement policies.
