Clow Valve - Videographer Intern

Today, Clow Valve Company operates at two locations: Oskaloosa, Iowa, and Riverside, Calif. The Oskaloosa plants include iron and brass foundries, a machine shop, assembly, finished goods warehousing, shipping and administrative offices. Purpose:

The Safety Videographer Intern will assist the safety and machine shop production departments in building a video library of safety and production task training. This will help improve manufacturing excellence by integrating modernized safety knowledge across Clow Valve's workforce and provides video expertise, logistics and support for the activities of the Occupational Health and Safety department.

Core Functions of the Position:

Training Video Creation (60%): Provide technical expertise and logistical support to the Safety Department for the development of safety training videos. Produce and edit video content for effective training delivery. Review, prepare, record, and edit selected task training materials into concise training videos.

Library Creation and Communication (20%): Enhance safety and production training/communications by creating content and a video training library.

Project Coordination (10%): Develop a standard operating procedure (SOP) outlining the process to enable others to follow and continue the project independently.

Technical Skills: Proficient with common video equipment and vide editing software. Understanding of video creation, development and logistics. Ability to work across multiple departments/customer sets. Bilingual in spanish is a plus.

Education & Experience:

Required: High School diploma or equivalent and some experience with video content creation, web-based content creation, video equipment, video editing software.

Preferred: Working towards an educational degree in videography or web content creation program
