Loan Review Specialist - Pre-Purchase Review We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Loan Review Specialist to join our team, focusing on the pre-purchase review of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA residential mortgage loans. This role ensures that each loan file meets underwriting, compliance, and documentation standards prior to purchase. Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough pre-purchase reviews of Conventional, Non-Conforming, FHA, and VA loan files. * Ensure all required documentation is present and compliant with underwriting and regulatory guidelines (DU, LQA, Fraud, and Compliance). * Accurately review and verify loan documentation, including income, asset, and appraisal documents. * Cross-check data across documents and systems for consistency and accuracy. * Analyze client-provided documentation and resolve outstanding stipulations promptly. * Maintain high performance standards: * 95% Productivity * 85% Quality * 95% SLA Completion Required Skills & Experience * 1-3 years of residential mortgage experience in processing, underwriting, or loan analysis. * Strong understanding of loan documentation, policies, and procedures. * Experience with income, asset, and appraisal documentation. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. * Exceptional organizational skills to manage a pipeline of loans at various stages. * High attention to detail and data accuracy. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. * Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment. * Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in a related field. * Familiarity with mortgage lending systems and compliance tools. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
