Sr Machine Learning Engineer
We're seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with a strong background in developing and deploying machine learning products. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, from ideation and experimentation to deployment and monitoring. This is a hands-on technical position that requires a deep understanding of machine learning principles, software engineering best practices, and cloud infrastructure.
Scope:
* Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and pipelines.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data scientists, and other engineers, to define product requirements and deliver solutions.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
* Manage and optimize machine learning workloads and infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
* Implement MLOps best practices to ensure reliable and efficient model deployment and management.
Required:
* At least 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer or machine learning engineer.
* Demonstrated expertise in Python programming for building production-grade software.
* Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including services like Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Kubernetes Engine.
* Proven track record of building and deploying machine learning products in a production environment.
* Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data science principles.
* Proficient with scientific computing libraries like Pytorch, NumPy, Pandas, and SciPy.
* Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
* Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Pluses:
* Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and/or multimodal models.
* Background or interest in chemistry or AI for science applications.
* Experience with generative models.
Estimated Min Rate: $70.00
Estimated Max Rate: $80.00/hr+ Depends on work experience.
